Careful use of resources is becoming increasingly important. The Witte company group is also a leader with regard to protecting the environment. We have expressly committed ourselves to maintaining all of the environmental legislation.
The group’s first certification according to ISO 14001 (environmental management) in May 2010 is the result of the measures taken by us to protect the environment.
The following is one of our “green” projects
- Approx. 50% contribution from our photovoltaic system at our Münster location
- Complete LED illumination
- Partially heated by heat recovery from the compressors
- Gradual conversion vehicle fleet to low CO² emission vehicles; general use of Diesel vehicles at present – gradual conversion to gas, hybrid and later electric vehicles
- Material reduction by means of recycling
